Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name or location entered in an embedded search tool is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. Lewis County Recent Arrests does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
If you send an email or contact submission, we keep the information needed to answer it. We do not share the message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Technical Information Collected
A page request may produce routine technical data:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device category and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring page, when available; and
- date and time records.
